FAQ

Questions we hear every week

Don’t see yours? Call (720) 555-0148 or send us a note.

Ask a question
How much does a CPA cost in Marlow Springs?

It depends on what you need. Individual returns start at $450, monthly bookkeeping at $400 and full business packages at about $650 a month. After a free consultation you get a written, flat quote, so there are no hourly bills.

Do you only work with clients in Marlow Springs?

Most of our clients are in Marlow Springs and along the Front Range, and we’re happy to meet in person. We also work with clients across Colorado and in other states through video calls and a secure client portal.

When should I contact you about my taxes?

As early as you can. Planning works best before December 31, and new clients who reach us by early February get the most relaxed tax season. If it’s already April, call anyway: we can file an extension and take it from there.

I got a letter from the IRS. Can you help?

Yes. Don’t ignore it and don’t call the number on it yet. Send us a photo or scan, and we’ll review it for free, explain what it means and tell you what it would cost for us to handle it.

I’m behind on my books or haven’t filed in years. Is that a problem?

No, it’s common and fixable. We catch up the books first, file what’s missing, and ask for penalty relief where it applies. Most catch-up projects take four to eight weeks.

What should I bring to the first consultation?

Your last one or two tax returns and a short list of questions. For a business, add a recent profit and loss statement if you have one. Nothing else is needed for the first call.

Which accounting software do you work with?

We work in QuickBooks Online and Xero, and with Gusto and ADP for payroll. If you use something else, we’ll tell you honestly whether it makes sense to switch.

How do you keep my information secure?

Documents move through an encrypted client portal with two-factor sign-in, never through regular email. We follow federal rules on taxpayer data and never share your information without your written consent.

Let’s make next tax season the calm one

Tell us where things stand. We’ll tell you what we’d do first and what it would cost, in writing, within two business days.
