About us

Real estate in Ashbury, done the neighborly way

Bennett & Hart is a small team of four. We started in 2012 with one rule: treat every client the way we'd want our own parents treated.

A row of restored brick and painted storefronts along a small-town main street on a clear day.

Our story

An office on Main Street and a lot of front porches

Claire was selling homes for a large brokerage when she met David, a local builder who kept getting calls from her clients asking whether a house was "a good one".

In 2012 they opened a small office at 214 Main Street with one idea: an agent who knows the market and a builder who knows houses, on the same side of the table. Fourteen years and more than 300 homes later, we're still in that office, and most of our clients come from people we've helped before.

How we work

What you can count on

  • Straight answers

If a home is overpriced or a repair is a red flag, we'll say so, even when it's not what you hoped to hear.

  • Local, for real

We live here, our kids go to school here, and we only sell homes in Ashbury and the foothills.

  • One team, start to finish

The agent you meet is the agent who negotiates your deal and stands next to you at closing.
