How we handle what you share with us, in plain English.
Last updated October 1, 2026. This is a sample policy for a fictional business on a demo site.
What we collect
When you fill in a form on this site (a tour request, a home value request, the newsletter or a message), we receive the details you type: usually your name, email, phone number, a home address and your message. We don't buy lists and we don't collect anything else about you.
How we use it
- To answer your request: schedule a tour, prepare a home value or reply to your message.
- To send listing alerts or market notes, only if you asked for them. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- To keep records required for real estate transactions under North Carolina law.
Who we share it with
Only the people needed to help you, such as a lender or closing attorney you choose to work with, and only with your permission. We never sell your information.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no advertising cookies. We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count visits.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time: email hello@bennetthart.example or call (828) 555-0142.
Fair housing
We are committed to the letter and spirit of the federal Fair Housing Act and North Carolina fair housing law. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin or any other protected class, and our neighborhood guides describe places, not people.
