Overview
Dentsply Sirona is a global leader in dental technology, with a sophisticated brand already in place. We were brought in to provide visual design support across a range of formats, from presentations and event materials to internal documents and digital graphics. We’ve worked with Jeanne Ricciardi, Senior Manager of Marketing Communications, on more than one project.
The challenge
The brand was already defined, so this was brand extension, not reinvention. Each new piece had to stay true to Dentsply Sirona’s system while serving a specific goal, whether that was recruiting dental practices to offer SureSmile aligners or explaining a new implant line to clinicians.
Our approach
We worked in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, adapting existing templates where they fit and building from scratch where they didn’t:
- SureSmile Clear Aligners: a campaign for practices, carried across bus-shelter ads, hanging posters and roll-up banners with lines like “Aligners undetected” and “Delivering healthy smiles to 500,000 patients and counting”.
- Product sell sheets: two-sided pieces for Dentsply Sirona Implants (DS PrimeTaper and OsseoSpeed), the DS Activate Primescan offer and DSX Digital Impressions.
- Programs and referrals: flyers for the DS Cares program and a referral piece for doctors on treating limited bone.
The result
We worked across departments to create visuals that kept the brand consistent and served each piece’s purpose, whether we were adapting a template or building from scratch. Jeanne’s comment on our second project together is below.
