How to create a website for your business

For restaurants

Can you put my whole menu online?

Yes, as real text instead of a photo or a PDF, so it’s easy to read on a phone and Google can read it too. Send us your current menu in any format, even a photo, and we type it up. When prices change, we update it.

Can people book a table from the site?

Yes. We can connect the booking system you already use, like OpenTable, Resy or Tock, or add a simple request form that sends to your email.

Can I link to delivery apps?

Yes. We add your DoorDash, Uber Eats or Grubhub links next to the menu, at no extra cost.

We don’t have good photos. Is that a problem?

No. We can launch with licensed stock photos that match your food and swap in your own whenever you take them. A phone and good daylight go a long way.

How much does a restaurant website cost?

With us, $750 for a one-page site or $999 for up to five pages, paid once, plus $5 a month to stay online from the second year. Restaurant platforms usually charge from about $75 to $499 a month, and some add a fee on every online order. The comparison above shows the main ones.

Common questions

Is it really three days?

For a landing page, yes: three business days, counted from the day we have your details and photos. A full website of up to five pages takes seven business days.

What do I need to give you?

Very little. Tell us about your business, show us a few websites or businesses you like, and send whatever you already have: logo, photos, menu, flyers, your Instagram. If you don’t know what you want yet, that’s fine; we show you a few directions and you pick. No photos? We choose licensed stock photos that fit. No logo? We set your name as a clean logo.

How many changes can I ask for?

Three to five rounds of changes while we design, depending on the project. You see the design and tell us what to adjust before anything goes live.

Is it a template?

No two of our sites look alike. We build on our own tested system, which is how we keep it fast and affordable, but every business gets its own layout, header, footer and form, like the four sample sites on this page.

Will my site show up on Google?

Every site is set up for search: page titles and descriptions, your business details in the format Google reads, a sitemap, fast loading and a layout made for phones. We also help you connect it to your Google Business Profile. Nobody can promise a ranking, but your site starts with everything search engines look for.

What counts as a page?

A page is one of the main pages people use, like Home, Services, About, Gallery or Contact. Your privacy policy and terms are included and don’t count toward your pages, and neither does the error page. Need more than five? We’ll quote a larger site, built the same fast way.

Can my site be in Spanish too?

Yes, as an add-on: $150 for a landing page or $300 for a full website. We add a language switch in the header and write the Spanish in a neutral style that reads naturally for customers from any country. You can add it at launch or later.

Can I add online booking?

Yes. Customers can book from your site: we connect the booking app you already use (Square, Vagaro, Jane, Calendly and the like), or add a simple request form that sends to your email. It’s included in the full website and $50 on a landing page.

What does hosting include?

The first year is included. After that it’s $60 a year ($5 a month, billed yearly) for the hosting, the security certificate (the padlock and https) and one email address at your domain, like hello@yourbusiness.com. More email addresses are $24 a year each.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. You pay half to start and half when your site goes live. If you’d rather pay over time, choose Klarna when you pay your invoice and split it into smaller payments over time, subject to approval. Hosting from year two is billed once a year.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, if we haven’t started work on your site yet. Once we start, the work is underway, so ask us anything you need to know before you pay the first half.

Who owns the website?

You do. The site and your domain are yours, and you can take them somewhere else whenever you want. We just keep the right to show your site in our portfolio, like the sample sites on this page.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. You pay for your site once, half to start and half at launch. From year two, hosting is billed a year at a time. There’s nothing else to sign up for.
